A heat seal label is only as good as its bond, and the bond depends on the fabric underneath it. That makes the base cloth the most important thing in the brief, ahead of the artwork.
BASE FABRIC
The exact fabric it will be applied to, ideally as a physical swatch. Bond behaviour on a brushed polyester is not the bond behaviour on a fine nylon knit.
ARTWORK
Vector file with fonts outlined. Heat transfer holds finer detail than weaving, so multi-colour and small type are usually feasible.
FINISHED SIZE
Width and height in millimetres, plus where on the garment it sits.
WASH REQUIREMENT
The wash cycles and temperature the label has to survive. Tell us if the garment is washed industrially rather than domestically.
HAND FEEL
Whether you want a soft matte finish that disappears into the fabric or a raised gloss that reads as a deliberate mark.

Bonded rather than stitched, and what that changes
The reason heat seal took over the inside of activewear and underwear is simple: there is no seam. A stitched label has a hard edge and a stitch line, and both are felt against bare skin under load. A bonded label has neither, which is why it appears in garments worn next to the skin and in swimwear, where a sewn label also creates a snag point.
The trade-off is that the bond has to be proved on your actual fabric rather than assumed, which is exactly what the 4-day sample is for. We do not publish a daily capacity on this line — it is quoted against your spec instead. Everything ships from our own floor in Uttarkhan, Uttara — an 18,000 sq ft factory running 24 hours shift-wise with 30 office staff and 135 production workers.
Every lot is checked in our in-house lab against three ISO methods before dispatch — pH (ISO 3071), colour fastness to rubbing (ISO 105 X12) and colour fastness to water (ISO 105 E01). Heat seal labels sit inside our STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate 2022OK1327, issued by AITEX under Product Class I — the strictest class, the one written for baby articles — valid to 31 May 2027, within the certified materials and colourways. Timing does not change with order size: a sample 4 working days from a confirmed spec, bulk 10 days after approval.
