Trims Bangladesh is an OEKO-TEX certified trims manufacturer holding STANDARD 100 certificate 2022OK1327, issued by AITEX under Product Class I and valid to 31 May 2027. The scope is set out in full below, including what it does not cover.

What being an OEKO-TEX certified trims manufacturer actually means
Product Class I is the strictest of the four STANDARD 100 classes — the one written for articles intended for babies and toddlers, with the lowest permitted limit values. A certificate issued under Class I applies those limits to the articles named in its scope.
The part that matters commercially, and that suppliers are often vague about, is that a STANDARD 100 certificate is never blanket coverage of a company. It certifies named articles in named materials and colourways. Ours covers narrow fabrics and labels in specific constructions — polyester and cotton drawstring, drawcord and twill tape; elastic tapes in polyester and rubber-blend builds; woven, printed satin, printed taffeta and heat-transfer labels; satin ribbon and tape; and polyester sewing thread — in the white and dyed colourways listed on the certificate.
So the honest answer to “is this product OEKO-TEX certified?” depends on the product and on the exact construction you order. Rather than let a badge imply more than it should, each product page on this site states its own position, and the three categories below say plainly which is which.

Inside the certified scope
All four elastics — jacquard, woven, knit and button-hole — plus drawcord, drawstring, woven label, printed label, heat seal label and sewing thread. Coverage still applies within the certified materials and colourways, so we confirm your exact construction against the certificate before you rely on it.
Confirm before relying on it
Herringbone tape and care label. The certificate names twill tape and printed satin and taffeta labels; herringbone is a twill variant and most care labels are printed satin or taffeta, but neither is named in those exact words. We will not claim them as covered without checking your specific construction first.
Not in the certified scope
Grosgrain tape, gum tape, hangtag, woven badge, leather badge, barcode sticker, transparent sticker, belts and suspenders, and buttons. These are made to the same in-house quality standard and tested to the same three ISO methods, but they are outside this certificate and we do not present them as certified.

Do not take our word for it
Certificate numbers can be checked independently, and we would rather you did. Enter 2022OK1327 into the OEKO-TEX label check tool and it will return the issuing institute, the product class and the certified scope directly from OEKO-TEX rather than from us.
Alongside the certificate, every lot we ship is tested in our own lab against three ISO methods before dispatch — pH (ISO 3071), colour fastness to rubbing (ISO 105 X12) and colour fastness to water (ISO 105 E01).
