Trims Bangladesh is a jacquard elastic manufacturer weaving brand logos and patterns directly into the tape on our own looms in Dhaka, at 25,000 yards a day. The design is built from dyed yarn as the tape forms rather than printed on top of it, so it cannot crack or peel.

A jacquard set-up is a loom programme rather than a print file, so several decisions have to be fixed before the first sample instead of after it. These six things are usually enough for us to quote and weave without a second round of questions.
ARTWORK
Vector logo with fonts outlined. Jacquard resolution is set by thread count, so we will tell you up front whether fine strokes need thickening to survive the weave.
TAPE WIDTH
Finished width in millimetres. Width decides how many needles the pattern has to fit across, which sets how much detail the logo can carry.
REPEAT LENGTH
How often the logo should appear along the tape, and whether it has to land in a fixed position on the finished garment.
COLOURWAYS
Pantone TCX references or a physical swatch. Each colour is a separately dyed yarn, so the number of colours affects both set-up and price.
STRETCH AND RECOVERY
Target elongation and the garment it goes into. A trouser waistband and a bra strap want very different recovery.
QUANTITY AND MARKET
Order quantity and destination market, which decides the compliance paperwork that travels with the shipment.
How the logo gets into the tape
Jacquard is the only one of our four elastic constructions where branding is structural. The pattern is programmed into the loom and built from pre-dyed yarns as the tape is woven, so there is no ink layer to crack at a fold or wash away over the life of the garment. Everything ships from our own floor in Uttarkhan, Uttara — an 18,000 sq ft factory running 24 hours shift-wise with 30 office staff and 135 production workers.
We run jacquard elastic at 25,000 yards a day alongside woven at 20,000 and knit at 50,000, all in the same building. That matters when one style needs a branded waistband and another needs plain knit: both come off a single order with the same lab reports, rather than from two suppliers on two schedules. Every lot is checked in our in-house lab against three ISO methods before dispatch — pH (ISO 3071), colour fastness to rubbing (ISO 105 X12) and colour fastness to water (ISO 105 E01).
Jacquard elastic falls inside our STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate 2022OK1327, issued by AITEX under Product Class I — the strictest class, the one written for baby articles — valid to 31 May 2027. Coverage is limited to the certified materials and colourways, so send your spec and we will confirm it against your exact construction. Timing does not change with order size: a physical sample 4 working days from a confirmed spec, and bulk 10 days after you approve that sample.
