Who we are

Trims Bangladesh is a garment trims and accessories manufacturer and exporter at Plot 389/1, Bhuiyan Bari, Medical Road, Uttarkhan, Uttara, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh. This policy covers the website at trimsbangladesh.com and the enquiries we receive through it. For anything relating to your personal data, write to [email protected].

What we collect

We collect very little, and only what you choose to send us. This site has no user accounts, no shopping cart, no payment processing and no comment system.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use enquiry data for one purpose: to answer you, quote your specification, and manage the business relationship if you become a customer. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.

The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to trade enquiries. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as there is an active or realistic prospective relationship, and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet tax and export documentation obligations. If you want your enquiry deleted sooner than that, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

We are based in Bangladesh and your enquiry is read and stored here. If you are contacting us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that means your personal data is transferred outside it. If your organisation requires specific contractual safeguards for that transfer before sending us data, tell us and we will address it directly with you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Where the law gives you the right, you can also ask us to restrict how we use it or to provide it in a portable form. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

Changes to this policy

If we start using a service that handles personal data differently — analytics, for example, which we do not currently use — we will update this page and change the date at the top before doing so.
